Installation and maintenance tips
A scooter parked in a cold porch overnight starts the day with less range. Replace batteries as a pair with the same code. Leaving batteries partly charged for days harms deep-cycle batteries.
What AGM means for you
Valve-regulated construction keeps an AGM case closed during normal life. Motorcycles benefit from glass-mat batteries because they tolerate lean angles and vibration. Too much voltage makes the valves vent gas that can never be replaced.
Five checks for a perfect fit
- ✓ Do not go far below your old battery's capacity; this one has 55Ah.
- ✓ Built with AGM technology: if your vehicle or system was set up for another chemistry, check the charging settings first.
- ✓ Measure the space available: the case takes up 226 × 135 × 229 mm, and a few millimetres too many can stop the hold-down from closing.
