About the technology: AGM
Lead plates in AGM batteries are often slightly thinner than in flooded types. Glass-mat batteries shrug off vibration, which is why bikes and boats use them so often. Charge an AGM battery in a cool, ventilated place.

Check before ordering
- ✓ As a AGM battery it needs matching charge settings in the alternator, charger or solar regulator.
- ✓ Measure the space available: the case takes up 151 × 65 × 102 mm, and a few millimetres too many can stop the hold-down from closing.
- ✓ Rated 8Ah: check that the charger or alternator in your system can refill a battery of that capacity in reasonable time.
