Installation and maintenance tips
A scooter used only once a week can lose charge between trips. Check tyre pressures before blaming the batteries for poor range. Swollen cases need immediate replacement.
Care tips for gel batteries
Gel electrolyte fills every gap between the plates. Mobility users favour gel for daily deep discharges. Program solar controllers with gel settings.
Check before ordering
- ✓ Set your charger to gel before the first charge.
- ✓ Check 242 × 175 × 190 mm against the tray, not just the old battery.
- ✓ The capacity rating, 48Ah, should suit the consumers you run. Lots of electrical equipment calls for the higher end.
