In short: One code, one battery: Trojan 24-AES, 76Ah 12V, for mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Terminal position is the detail people most often forget.
Trojan 24-AES in everyday use
Days out on grass and gravel drain batteries faster than pavements. Replace both batteries together with an identical pair. A scooter that cuts out on kerbs may have a loose connection rather than a bad battery.

What AGM means for you
AGM stands for absorbent glass mat, a fancy name for a very tidy way of storing acid. Because nothing can spill, AGM batteries can live inside a cabin, a boot or under a seat. Do not mix AGM and flooded batteries in one bank.

Make sure it fits your vehicle or equipment
- ✓ Consider extra loads such as a tow bar when comparing 76Ah.
- ✓ Set your charger to AGM before the first charge.
- ✓ Measure the space available: the case takes up 274 × 174 × 219 mm, and a few millimetres too many can stop the hold-down from closing.
