Fitting and everyday care

Modern bikes with alarms and trackers drain a little current even when parked. Connect the positive lead first, then the negative. Starter motors that turn slowly on cold mornings suggest low capacity.

The AGM technology explained

Compression inside the case is part of what makes glass-mat batteries so sturdy. Cold starts are easier with AGM thanks to strong current delivery. Leaving a glass-mat battery flat for weeks invites sulphation.
