Is the Fullriver DC224-6 right for you?
Made for boats and motorhomes, the Fullriver DC224-6 powers lights, pumps and fridges far from shore power. Leisure batteries are judged on capacity and recovery more than on cranking. The code from the old battery is all the search box needs.
Big reserve: 224Ah is high for boats and motorhomes. At 30.8 kg, it is lighter than many rivals of similar capacity.

Fitting and everyday care
Fishing trips with sonar and lights running drain small boat batteries fast. Check the mains charger setting each spring. Swollen cases call for immediate replacement.
How AGM batteries work and how to look after them
AGM stands for absorbent glass mat, a fancy name for a very tidy way of storing acid. Glass-mat batteries shrug off vibration, which is why bikes and boats use them so often. Leaving a glass-mat battery flat for weeks invites sulphation.
Five checks for a perfect fit
- ✓ Technology to match: AGM. Moving to a different chemistry may need settings changed in your system.
- ✓ Will it fit? The Fullriver DC224-6 measures 260 × 180 × 272 mm, so compare length first, then width, then height with the lid or bonnet closed.
- ✓ Rated 224Ah: check that the charger or alternator in your system can refill a battery of that capacity in reasonable time.
