Installation and maintenance tips

Towing a caravan, running heated seats and charging phones all lean on the battery of cars and vans. Take the negative lead off first and put it back last when swapping the battery. Choosing a lower capacity than the original to save a little usually ends with a dead battery once the frosts arrive.

Before you order: a quick checklist

• ✓ Grab a tape measure: 302 × 171 × 225 mm is what this case needs.
• ✓ The capacity rating, 75Ah, should suit the consumers you run. Lots of electrical equipment calls for the higher end.
