Exide EP1500 in everyday use
Rough passages give boat batteries a beating that a car battery never sees. Keep a battery monitor reset after fitting new batteries. Old and new batteries side by side make a weak team.
What AGM means for you
Picture a sponge holding the acid: that is roughly how an AGM cell works. Ambulances and police cars use AGM for their heavy electrical loads. Do not mix AGM and flooded batteries in one bank.
