Using it day to day: practical tips

Hilly routes and soft tyres drain mobility batteries faster than flat pavements. Ask the service engineer for a load test if range drops. Unplugging mid-charge as a habit keeps batteries out of balance.

The gel technology explained

A gel battery usually feels solid and heavy for its size. Powerchairs and mobility scooters often use gel because it takes daily deep discharges well. Store gel batteries charged and topped up every few months.
