Your questions answered
Is the Long WP18-12N suitable for a 12V system?
It is a 12V battery with a capacity of 18Ah. In banks of several units, connect only identical batteries bought at the same time.
Is AGM the same as the battery I have now?
Being a AGM battery, it needs charging voltages suited to that chemistry. Smart chargers with a selectable mode take care of this automatically.
Which product line does the Long WP18-12N belong to?
Yes, WP Series includes other sizes. The brand page lists them.
Is this the right replacement for my current battery?
Read the code on your old unit and set it beside WP18-12N, then check dimensions, terminal layout and electrical ratings on this page. If all of them match, the replacement is equivalent.
What AGM means for you
Gas produced during charging recombines inside an AGM battery, so it loses almost no water. Recharging is quick with AGM, handy for vehicles that do short trips. Charge an AGM battery on a programme made for AGM, not a generic setting.
Same case, same terminal side
If you prefer another make, these fit the same space with the same terminal side.

A scooter that used to manage a full day at the shops now struggles to get home by teatime. Keep a note of the date the batteries were fitted. Pairing one fresh battery with one tired one makes both suffer.
