What AGM means for you
Open up an AGM battery in your imagination and you would find the acid soaked into thin glass-fibre sheets squeezed against each plate. Glass-mat batteries shrug off vibration, which is why bikes and boats use them so often. Never try to open an AGM battery to add water.

Fitting and everyday care
A scooter used only once a week can lose charge between trips. Switch off the vehicle or remove the main fuse before lifting the batteries out. Storing a chair with flat batteries in a cold shed often ruins them.
