Fitting and everyday care
Holiday homes off the grid often sit unused for months between visits. Program the charge controller with the absorption and float values for the gel chemistry. Batteries in an unventilated room age faster.
What gel means for you
Gel cells contain no free liquid that could spill. Solar cabins rely on gel for long, steady cycling. Avoid fast charging a gel battery.
