60Ah indicates how much charge it stores, 540A how much current it can deliver in a cold start. Both should be at least equal to the original.
Is the Varta LFS60 suitable for a 12V system?
Yes, 12V with 60Ah. Two in series would give double the voltage.
Which corner holds the positive post on the Varta LFS60?
Polarity here: positive on the right-hand side. Look at the unit in your vehicle too, as reversed polarity often leaves the cables too short.
