Installation and maintenance tips
Powerchairs used from morning to night cycle their batteries hard every day. Make sure the connectors click home and no cable is trapped under the cover. Range that drops sharply over a few weeks usually points to worn batteries.
AGM: how it works
Compression inside the case is part of what makes glass-mat batteries so sturdy. Because nothing can spill, AGM batteries can live inside a cabin, a boot or under a seat. Never try to open an AGM battery to add water.
Make sure it fits your vehicle or equipment
- ✓ Dimensions to compare: 166 × 175 × 125 mm. Do not forget the base ledge, which the hold-down clamp grips on many vehicles.
- ✓ Rated 24Ah: check that the charger or alternator in your system can refill a battery of that capacity in reasonable time.
- ✓ The technology is AGM. Keep the same type as the original, and confirm your charger offers a matching profile.
