Practical advice for mobility scooters and wheelchairs

Powerchairs used from morning to night cycle their batteries hard every day. Ask the service engineer for a load test if range drops. Charging with the wrong programme can leave batteries undercharged night after night.

Care tips for AGM batteries

Each AGM cell is packed so tightly that the plates barely move, even on a bumpy road. Backup systems rely on AGM because it can wait, fully charged, for years without fuss. Keep AGM batteries away from sustained heat, which shortens their life.
