Summary: Short version: Long WP9B-4, made for UPS and standby systems, with a rating of 8Ah 12V. Compare the code on your old battery with WP9B-4 before ordering.
A storm knocks out the power and the UPS takes over in a heartbeat. Let the equipment charge new batteries fully before relying on them. Exit lights that fail their duration test often need new batteries.
Home alarm systems and garage door motors also use the Long WP9B-4. Standby batteries are judged on voltage, capacity and terminal fit. Buying batteries online by exact reference avoids mixing makes in one UPS string.
8Ah puts it squarely in the middle of the range for UPS and standby systems.
Look for the printed code on the battery label, then search on baterias.online for the brand followed by that code, for example Long WP9B-4.
At 3.46 kg, it is manageable for one person with care. Keep it upright while moving it.
Yes, but all batteries self-discharge slowly. Check the voltage every few months and recharge if needed.
A photo of the old label plus this page is all it takes to order with confidence at baterias.online. Recycling the old battery is easy at most tips and garages.
Glass-mat batteries are sealed, with small valves that only open if pressure builds up. Glass-mat batteries recover well after a deep discharge compared with flooded ones. Old-fashioned chargers without automatic cut-off are a poor match for glass-mat batteries.
