Fitting and everyday care

Holiday trips with a travel scooter mean charging in hotel rooms. Use the charger supplied with the chair or one set for the AGM chemistry. After a few years of daily use, most mobility batteries need renewing.

AGM: how it works

Lead plates in AGM batteries are often slightly thinner than in flooded types. Cold starts are easier with AGM thanks to strong current delivery. If the original was AGM, the replacement should be AGM too.

Will the Fullriver DCG32-12 fit?

• ✓ With M6 terminals, some installations need a different clamp or adapter. Check before fitting.
• ✓ Set your charger to AGM before the first charge.
• ✓ Dimensions to compare: 197 × 131 × 171 mm. Do not forget the base ledge, which the hold-down clamp grips on many vehicles.
